[Answer]-Django forms, specifying Model

I’m thinking you are wanting a forms.ModelForm instead of forms.Form:

class ThisForm(forms.ModelForm):
    class Meta:
        model = TheModel
        fields = ['text']

Then your view should be able to form.save(). See here for the official documentation.
